This cuvette is designed with a PTFE stopper cap and 2 clear windows for spectroscopic analysis. This type of cuvette is not appropriate for use in fluorescence spectroscopy where it is necessary to have four polished windows. Cuvettes with four polished sides here.

The fused quartz material has a higher transmission of >83% (higher than normal type 80%). The cuvette is usable in UV and visible wavelength range. 1mm short path length makes the cuvette suitable for micro-volume samples or solutions that are too concentrated and difficult to dilute.

This cuvette has a 12.5 x 3.5 mm outer dimension and a volume of 350 µL. The cuvette is designed with PTFE stopper caps for use in airtight sealing (screw cap type is better in sealing) applications. Each cuvette comes with a closed PTFE stopper cap. The PTFE stopper creates an airtight seal to prevent evaporation and atmospheric contamination of the solutions.

Note: The stopper should be inserted gently into the top of the cuvette; excessive force will cause difficulty with removing the stopper.
