Description

The difference between the standard 10mm cuvette QS4HF and QS4HR is the bottom. QS4HR is round bottom while QS4HF is flat. QS4HR is cheaper in price.

This quartz fluorometer cuvettes are available as a solid-top screw-cap with PTFE/silicone septa and an 2mm open-top screw-cap with PTFE/silicone septa for ease of needle injection. The cuvettes are 4 clear windows and flat bottom. Fits all standard fluorometers.

This type of fluorometer cuvettes with septa screw caps for use in anaerobic or long-term storage applications. Each cuvette comes with a closed screw cap or an open screw cap with a septa self-healing injection site.

This cuvette is our standard 10mm screw cap cell and is a favorite selection among scientists who perform anaerobic work. The open septa screw cap enables researchers to make sterile injections into the cuvette without compromising the experiment.

*HTR: High-Temperature Resistant. This type of cuvettes are melt and manufactured as one piece, with extraordinary resistance to high temperature (<1200℃) and corrosive chemicals. The cuvette package includes 1pc cap, 1 pc PTFE/silicone liner and the cuvette cell.

These cuvettes can be used with most popular organic solvents, as well as acids and bases. They are compatible with chemicals such as acetone, butanone, DMF, and concentrated hydrochloric acid.

Why Our Quartz Cuvettes?

It’s not necessary to always use quartz cuvettes and it depends on the wavelength range you are targeting. Quartz cuvettes have a high transmission rate (80% or higher) @ UV wavelength range while Optical Glass or Plastic (PS or PMMA) reflect the light.
