This spectrophotometer cuvette path length is 40mm and the volume is 14mL. This quartz cuvette is available as a solid-top screw-cap with PTFE/silicone septa or a 2mm open-top (on request) screw-cap with PTFE/silicone septa for ease of needle injection. The cuvette is 2 clear windows and the bottom is round.

*CRF: Chemical Resistant Fused. This type of cuvettes are resistant to most of corrosive chemicals. However, it has a chance to be stained by some chemicals to the bonding edges.
Note: please don’t use the cuvette to store chemicals for long time. Clean it after use.

Why Quartz Cuvettes?
It’s not necessary to always use quartz cuvettes and it depends on the wavelength range you are targeting. Quartz cuvettes have a high transmission rate (80% or higher) @ UV wavelength range while Optical Glass or Plastic (PS or PMMA) reflect the light.
